New TG Comic Book (Offsite)

I'm delurking for a moment to plug my comic book, if that's okay. It's a hand-drawn TG comic book called "Making Friends." It's 38 pages and has a healthy amount of process-ey goodness in it. My inspiration for doing it are the great comic books by dreamtales that he makes for AR/Shrinking/Growth stories, so it has both the long-form process he does and I also have sequential process bits as well.

If you want to check it out, it's here. There's also a 10-page preview available to get a feel for it.

Thanks!

Re: New TG Comic Book

I rarely hand out praises....but this is for hand-drawn slow TG what CBlack is for CG slow TG.

Get it.

Hell, anyone who knows me knows how rare it is for me to be effusive in my praise but despite what I'm sure some will see as a high price point, it is worth it.

Get it now.

I agree with Vengeance's critique. Not a huge fan of one method used to achieve a result in the story, but all around very well done. Beautifully illustrated, very coherent and thought out plot, and easy to follow. Great length, and the results made me chuckle when I saw what direction they were taking. Well worth the money, in my humble opinion.

Re: New TG Comic Book

I'm not sure how many pages it is. The art quality's not all there, simplistic / bad in some places, and it looks like you used a CAD program or some other 3D rendering tool to make the backgrounds.

The price is pretty damn high as well. If you asked me to sell this, I probably would have done so for half that price.

It's 38 pages. I wish I had the talent that some of your or palcomix's artists have, but then again, it would have cost even more if I'd have hired one to do it. I won't sell nearly as much as you do, Lorekeep. That's why the price is high, to recover from what will be a relatively low sales count. And yes, I used Google Sketch-Up for building backgrounds, and traced them. You can read more about how it was done at this page.

I did another one of these, in case anyone's interested. You can see more about it here. It's 29 pages, 160 panels, full-color and hand-drawn.

I liked your archie comic where Veronica got regressed, do any of your other comics have age regression in them? You could sell more if you added multiple tf's. I like your artwork/writing skills and am looking forward to buying this comic.

So far, none of the other comics have age regression. I'll manage to get some in there in he future.

But at the same time, if you lowered the price, more people would be inclined to buy it. It's a give and take for sure.

Personally, I'd only pay about half, like Lore.
