I may not have splitting up; but I do know of a couple pages form freddy vs jason vs ash; showing quite the opposite actually.
Ash is asleep and in his dream he starts to bleed from reliving his cutting the hand off. The blood that gets on the floor begins to form many little freddies. They all start climbing on top of one another, and form freddy

Hm, interesting concept, though unfortunately I've been permanently put off by it after what happened in the first episode of the 4th season of The New Doctor Who when Peoples' fat were coming out of them and becoming living creatures.
The Process goes into overdrive for one person however and she completely dissolves into a dozen of these little fat creatures. For me that was probably one of the most gruesome deaths ever on Doctor Who... |

I've always been interested in the concept of multiples of a given person; it would be amazing to be able to have more than one of oneself from time to time, especially if you're thinking about the sexual possibilities, never mind the practical aspects. Dopplegangers, twins, Nobody-Heartless pairs, makes me even think back to Yu-Gi-Oh...
Blaming technology or magic is always a good excuse for writting, I think. I've never thought of someone being split into more than one with different sizes, but, as for personality it reminds me of a charecter from Marvel - I think her name was Triad? |

I was reading this big hardcover collection of Weird Science comics from the 1950s when I came across this story about this scientist who discovers a way for organisms to split in two, but into half-sized versions.
At the end of the story, he gets revenge on his wife by injecting her with the splitting fluid and she splits into 2 again and again until there's like 64 of her. It was really well-drawn. Shrunk out of clothes too. This was before comics code, mind you. |
