I...honestly just see that as them trying to milk the franchise even more. Soon there will be less fanservice and more shameless cashing in. From their point of view this is an excuse to make an entire new line of toys.

Hasbro, you really are smart when it comes to this. You did similar things with Transformers.

Seriously, it is getting ridiculous! Anyway, I've never been a fan of My Little Pony *, but this is REALLY ridiculous! Lol!

*(I try to watch several episode because every one was talking about it, and, seriously, it is not bad, but not great either. I mean, I would let my kids watch it, but I will not watch it regiously! Lol!)

If the trailer is any indication then NO the girls will not have pony ears or wings, they will just be oddly colored humans. Also it's easy to miss but Twilight DOES have wings in her natural form, they are hidden by her saddle bags. On a slightly unrelated note am I the ONLY one who noticed as a Alicorn Twilight's cutie mark has 7th star? Now she has a star burst surrounded by 6 stars not 5. Fan art of Alicorn Twi drawn after the season final misses this.

Okay. It doesn't look terrible. I don't quite see the point, though. This seems like a lot of shows about teen girl protagonists, right down to the conniving twat who wants to bring the protagonist down.

And it's being released in movie theaters? Seriously?!

Like I said Hasbro has unofficially admitted this project is an attempt to compete with the Monster High franchise. Sort of like how in the 80s Jem was their attempt to compete with Barbie, honestly they should have rebooted Jem instead of this project, but My Little Pony is a current big money maker. Half the point of the HUB was to reboot old franchises, why aren't they doing it more?

It's a good TF/TG sequence and one of the few that shows how horrifying brainwashing/Mind Rape TFs is. Instead of just being eased into the new form, he fights the last part of Vinyl's body stealing plan until his last mental breath (but not in the Defiant to the End style).

After physically turning into Cadance (and Cadance turning into him) and being thrown into her world, the guy must now try to find a way to change back to normal all the while pretending to be her and Shining Armor's wife.
Yeah, if you're only interested in the TF/TG it's in the prologue, but the rest of the story is very interesting as he explores the world of Equestria even though it's more different than he remember from watching the show.

The story begins with Anon (luckily Anon is not represented as you just for some reason his parents call him that) celebrating his 25th birthday along with his friends who also become 25 as well and in the middle of the celebration one of his friends call him Rainbow Dash in a trance for some reason and it gets stranger from here on out. He wakes up to find Dash's cutie mark on his hip and finds himself slowly turning into her along with one of his friends becoming Applejack and his brother becoming Big Mac later that day. They don't understand why are they turning into cartoon ponies from the show and the only clue they have about that is that it has something to do with the final cliff hanger episode of the entire show.
Once Anon Dash's story reaches a certain point, the story switches to a tale of two sisters living with some guy along with one of the sister's crush on some guy becoming ponies along with them (one of the sisters is becoming Twilight one of only girls becoming... well, mares) and their own way of figuring out why they are becoming ponies and they appear to be much closer to finding out the answer than Dash's group.
