Forust- Book where fairies turn into monsters

Found out about this from a Cracked article. It's a fantasy book(obviously) where there's some sort of magical mold that curses a village so that everyone turns into a wide array of different monsters.

We have one that becomes an insect-like being, a worm, a slime creature, a big bat-like creature, and so on. There's also a magic dust that gets used to make some fairies look like they've been turned back to normal if that's anyone's thing. No sex or anything since it seems like it's going for about YA level.
