Vervintex left Deviantart...

We have lost another Transformation Artist... I don't know when but it had to have between this Fall and last Spring. They were a particular favorite of mine since they mostly did Pig Tfs... and you all should know how I feel about pig tfs...

Anyone know what happened? And, more importantly, did anyone backup their files? I have some but I had not got up to Vervintex's archive when they vanished.

I was going to post this in the Artists missing thread but I think I made it up as a search proved it useless to find. Sorry if my Search-Fu failed me but it doesn't usually.

Looks like several posts were edited/removed however.

Can't say I followed Vervintex, but I looked up their art on google and I do recognise it. A good artist, pity to see them go.

EDIT And it's done... whew... quite a lot were saved. In particular the Writhing one, which I remember quite fondly. Writhing... good word... good picture... terrible that Vervintex is gone. I used the wayback to determine that there are at least 23 images in Vervintex's archive before it went offline. I have recovered 17.

Some of them are not titled due to human error on my part. Any help finding their right titles would be greatly appreciated. Wayback machine link to Vervintex's stuff will be posted to help find them.

By the way, I'm aware that being archived could very well be the last thing an artist may want. However, I hold Vervintex's art in the highest regard. Should they contact me to remove the art, I'll move it to my private archives where it will be stored safely.

I cannot abide by good transformation art to be lost. Especially of the porcine variety!

Unfortunately, most of the untitled are still untitled here as well. It looks like 1 is missing but hard to say. It's possible something got mislabeled. Some of these had different file names than their titles.

But this is more than I expected and thank you so very very much.

UPDATE: While browsing Tumblr I came across Disneymasters post about a DA member being banned for a promiscuous picture of Raven from DC. Even though the pictur has no nudity, and depicted an adult Raven showing off her ass in a thong, DA removed the image and indefinitely banned the artist for depicting an underage character in a sexual situation.

What does this have to do with Vervintex? Well, their art style displays characters of an almost cartoonish design. Their age is never stated nor established but it is easy to confuse them with underage depictions with larger heads on smaller bodies. It is possible DA banned Vervintex and they did not leave DA.

Now, I don’t want this to become an argurment about whether or not underage TF is right or if DA has the right to remove images blah blah blah...

Vervintex posts sporadically and rarely (about once or twice a year) As far as I know Verv did not have an alternate place to showcase their work. So it’s very possible that DA banned them and deactivated their account and so Vervintex mat not have intentionally leave DA. Hopefully my hypothesis proves correct and we see Vervintex return in the future.
