Re: Saga of Tanya the Evil

There is no evidence that Joan of Arc was an atheist, or that she denied god's existence, or that her visions were actually of divine origin, so I fail to understand your point.

Agreed. It was a total non-sequitur of a response.

By your excruciatingly narrow standards, sure. But I get the impression anything that contradicts your inviolate perception of reality is an automatic "non-sequitur."

Re: Saga of Tanya the Evil

This thread started with an underhanded jab at people who do not share the OP's religious convictions:

And then further deteriorated into ad hominem when a statement was challenged on its merits:

If I may quote from the rules:
Quote:
5. Keep all trolling and aggressive posting and behavior out of the content sections.
-If something starts to turn into an argument, or you think it will soon take it to FBS. Flame and Bullshit can be used for more than just bullshit. There are limits in that section as well, try not to test them because it's not good for your account standing.

6. Be excellent to each other!
-It's more than a creedo or a motto it's a way of life around here.
I do not come here to debate religion, and even if I did, it would not be in the TG section. This is not TG, it is not process, it has no place here.

Okay, Dr. Otto, et al:

Questions of atheistic intent are inherently flame & bullshit material. So, either everyone here redirects to the TG content of the show or this thread can be closed or moved.

Thanks!

Look, V: I never come here looking for a fight. Never. It was Sai and Lurker who decided to turn this thread into yet another religion vs. atheism throwdown. If they have personal beef with me, they could always PM me instead. But they don't.

I'm just physically and mentally exhausted with the same negativity being dredged up by people like Sai and Lurker every time I even broach the subject. So I suppose all I can do is just not bring it up at all.
