Re: Shrunk to 4' or taller?
I prefer gentle SW more often than the Slave/Stockholm-Love type stories. It's like there's no guilt (odd as it sounds to have guilt over) when everyone is a willing participant. The scared "everything is so different" is bit cute, but it's much more interesting to see her have a chance to enjoy her time being small when she known she's got someone that will take care of her until, or if, she ever gets big again, which can also lead to more willing shrinks and playing at different sizes. In short, it feels like it sets things up for a longer story, and a more enjoyable one on all sides. ^_^ Then again that all could jsut come from me odd mental disposition towards wanting to be the comforter and the comforted, i.e. being on both sides of that equation. ;p

Shrink to the 5-6' range? I wouldn't mind that. Or even shrinking to 6'4"

Re: Shrunk to 4' or taller?
I am very much for focusing on the more moderate aspects of size process - a GTS doesn't always have to be as tall as a building, and a SW doesn't always need to be as tiny as a doll.
I usually think about it from the GTS side: A woman has been a petite, 5ft tall woman all her life. Suddenly she grows to 6ft, and that one lousy foot makes her really tall, much taller than most girls, and equal to most men. Then 7ft, she?s a basketball player! Those are the changes I enjoy seeing. Imagine if your petite girlfriend was suddenly a basketball player! If we get to 8ft, it?s close to the tallest woman who ever lived... so anything beyond 9ft, 10ft max, and it gets a little ridiculous in my opinion. More isn?t always better. The same goes for SW. I just feel like the extremes make the women seem like they're not even women anymore. They're insects, or Godzilla-like monsters. |

Re: Shrunk to 4' or taller?
I completely agree with this. Our community is diverse, and I certainly don't begrudge people their mega's or micro's. But personally, I am WAY more interested in the girl's change in prospective, or the way she deals with the world around her. This tends to be more interesting when the girl is still a reasonable human height, or perhaps just outside of this range (3', or 8' for example,) because she can still interact in an essentially normal way - just different.

heh. different tastes for all.
I vastly prefer this kind of shrink range, where you can play with someone but not just accidentally crush them in a hand. |

Shrunken to midget sized...
That's something I've always fancied drawing but have never got around to doing, with the exception of some of Lorekeep's stories I've illustrated (and it was more of an intermediate step). I think it's a pretty cool concept. |
