Sabrina was created by Dan DeCarlo and has her own comic series. I'd say that puts her in the "core" cast.

...and as far as Sabrina goes, no she is not; she's a member of the Archie Comics core cast, same as Josie and co., but she originated in crossovers from Greendale, not Riverdale.

It's a pain-in-the-ass to explain, too, as Archie (having the occassional title of - not bullshitting anyone here - Archie Comics) is a sublabel of the Archie Comics imprint; thus, everything that happens in the Archie Comics universe is not necessarily core to the Archie (Comics) sublabel, and vice-versa.

Veronica = Ron
Jughead = J.J.
Hot Dog = Haute Dog
Moose = Mouse
Dilton = Dilly
Josie and the Pussycats = Joey and the Junkyard Dogs

The other identifiable characters who appear as TG versions of themselves are Archie's parents (unnamed), as well as "Mr. Grundy," "Mr. Beazly," and "Ms. Weatherbee."

UPDATE: Archie Comics is one of the few imprints to support digital - albeit paid - copies of their works.
They've even had their two CEOs in a protracted legal battle to determine whether that should've happened in the first place.
If you like having Archie available in a digital format, you know what to do.

I assure you, there is a reason for this.

Technically, manga scanlations shouldn't be posted here either, but they are tolerated.

This comes back to U.S. copyright law; this site runs on U.S. servers, not Japanese servers.
