I got a couple of sketches from Mir for a commission I'm planning. I thought I'd post them up here for people to look at.

I know her website posts what she thinks she can get done in 2 hours, but I wanted to ask if you've done the 2 hour art slot and have anecdotal evidence. I was interested because I was considering doing the 2-4 hour slot in the future, but wasn't sure she'd be able to finish as much as she claimed or still have the same quality in that short amount of time.

I have never seen anyone unhappy after their art slots. She is a fairly fast artist. I've done a few 2 hour slots and gotten quite a few images out of them. My suggestion would be to mail her with what you expect and get a time estimate on how long it would take.

I asked her, and Mir says 2 hours is enough for 1 color pinup, 2 inks, or 5-10 sketches.

All right, thanks for the background info. I'll probably catch her a few months from now at the next offering since I'm tight on funds at the moment. But for all I know, her slots might just disappear within a couple of minutes like other popular TF artists, lol...

Someone just got an hour slot for $50, and got a 4 page linework unicorn TF sequence. It was very good quality and done blazing fast.

Mir is also doing watercolor comissions for $50 an hour. A couple of hours is enough to get a watercolored pinup. That's a really good deal if you ask me. This is what she made for Janexas for a $100 slot.
