Madame Xanadu 16, several stuff.
In the current issiue 16 of the fantasy/mystery comic Madame Xanadu by Vertigo a 1950s housewife from New York experiences her life turned upsidedown when some kind of curse starts to fuck up her life. First she experiences weightlessnes, then her body starts to change and in the end she starts to spit insects. A very interestig, very beautyfully drawn comic, im actually courious where the story will lead to in the next issiue.

Great find, I totally agree that this should be kept updated as the story develops
It's drawn beautifully, the narration is kinda like a fairy tail which is nice and the processes are bizarre but enjoyable

And is fairly easy to find using ahem other means. The issue has a couple other small moments of gradual transformation, but it reveals at the end that this is a possession by a very silver-age looking character(who looks kind of strange contrasted with the casual nudity in the rest of the issue, but maybe that's just me). Unless they really drag out the storyline this'll probably be the last of any real changes.
