Considering what cartoon network does when it comes to US cartoons I gotta agree mostly. I'm not sure it's that cartoon network treats imported cartoons bad, it's highly dependent on where the show is imported from. Cartoons imported from English speaking countries require little to no editing. Shows from other countries require translation and editing when cultural differences are blatant. Japanese Anime is a known money maker while show from France just aren't really, have you ever heard about a french animation Renaissance or a stunning french animated film?

Well see that's my point, it didn't make lots of money and it isn't well known now is it? Cartoon Network like all other companies wants to make money, so if something is cheap to import or a known money maker they are likely to give it a better time slot and show it more often. Adventure time became popular, it costs maybe half as much as most animated shows, which translates to more money, so they play the heck out it. Same reason Nicktoons shows Avatar the Last Airbender constantly, rerunning a known hit is cheaper than producing or importing something new.
