One of the boys was devolved and one episode did feature the female human sidekick begin forced to try on a dress designed for a Reptiloian, the Dinosaucers came from Reptilon a counter earth planet(opposite side of the sun) and was basically the Reptilon equivalent of G.I. Joe (a military unit of specialists culled from the military, police and civilian sectors). Needless to say the dress, which included a tail sleeve, was not a big hit. the Dinosaucers being turned human sounds like a plot they would have done had the show got a second season. But then it's ownership is weird,, Dinoscauers is copy righted to Coca-Cola Communications, yes THAT Coca-Cola had a Communications division!

In a interesting related twist several Hasbro owned properties 80's cartoons seemed to share the same universe. G.I. Joe, Transformers, and Inhamnoids shared some characters and My Little Pony almost did too, a cut scene from the MLP G1 Movie featured Shipwreck of G.I. Joe seeing the pony Firefly a she searched Earth for a human to help Ponyland. The scene was cut early because Shipwreck was drinking in it, dismissing what he saw as too much booze. A Fanfic author decided to create the "HasbroVerse" where all those shows along with the 80's Dungeons and Dragons Cartoon shared the same Earth.

Back to topic though... Conan the Adventurer a 90's cartoon Featuring a toned down Conan the Barbarian was full of transformations, including process. The main villain was Wrath-Amon, a servant of the Evil Serpent God Set, he was a giant gilamonste like creature turned humanish by dark magic and commanded legions of Serpentmen who could disguise themselves as humans as well as dragonlike servant called Windfang who was a transformed Roman Soilder and a Skeleton Solider named Skullkur.
The main plot had Conan seeing to cure a "Spell of Living Stone" Rath-Amon cast on his family by collecting meteor metal his grandfather had forged into weapons, the metal could dispell serpemtmen's human disguise as well as banish the serpentmen to Set's prison dimension or be used to free Set.
Windfang in one episode manged to reverse his transformation but Rath-Amon kidnapped the heroine Jasmine briefly turning her into a creature like Windfang (it was a quick morph effect). Winfang exchanged himself for her and was changed back.
An episode featured Skullkur being brought back to life(mostly) to go undercover, it was the first Undead to alive TF I ever saw.
The Hero Greywolf was always followed by his cursed siblings Sasha and Misha who where turned into werewolves(non-humanoid ones) by an evil witch, feral at first they where HALF cured and stuck as Wolf/dog hybrids except during the full moon
the hero Falconer was forced to wear a hood and cloak made form a Bird demon's feathers which turned him into the demon (he got better).
Another episode featured Conan inflicted with a curse that was to turn him into a mindless Serpentman (normal Serpentmen are full sentient), naturally he found a cure.
Jasmine in one episode discovered she was a princess as well as the daughter of a Serpentman. This resulted in a later episode where Conan was forced to face his fears, include his friends becoming monsters with Jasmine turned into a serpentwoman. Then in yet another episode Conan visited a future where he died. there he found Jasmine enslaved by Set and turned into a serpentwoman, she later sacrificed herself to slow Set down while Conan escaped back to the past by turning into a giant Snake and fighting the evil God.

Well it exists, I don't recall ever seeing it on TV but then when it was shown was spotty in my area too. The show was on so danged early in the morning on the station that carried it in syndication in my local area. Nothing like how kids show are today, being shown because networks MUST show a certain number of hours worth of kids programming so they show edutainment shows are 5 AM to get the requirement out of the way.

So many shows in the 80's existing in the just before and just after school time of day which is now filled will infomercials and talk shows. It was a different time were we consumed media in a different way.

some of mine enjoyed.

"Woof": it was a British after school show based on a kids book about a Kid named Eric banks who randomly turns into a dog dew to the fact that someone somewhere is really wishing that they had a dog.

what on earth: it was about a shape shifting Alien called "what" who looked human but had backwards green ears that he hide with a deer hunter(Sherlock homes hat). he was on the run from another evil Alien known as Gemador (he had ominous theme music) who wanted to kill him and steal an Item from what known as his "amulet of vitality"(the thing that allowed him to live on our planet.

there's others too but theses really stood out to me.

so about you guys?
Woof was an awesome show. One of my favs as a kid.

I remember the 1992/3 Series Conan the Adventurer which had a LOT of TF in it:
  • Human to Inanimate (and reversion)
  • Human to Serpentman
  • Human to Wolf (and reversion)
  • Human to Winged Dragon-Creature (and reversion)
  • Human to Undead Skeleton (and reversion)
  • Serpentwoman to Giant Snake
  • Lizard to Lizardman (and reversion)
  • Lizardman to Human(ish) (and reversion)

The last pair technically being from the same individual, Wrath-Amon, and a fact that didn't seem to be particularly well-known to the vast bulk of the Cult of Set. Created by his immediate predecessor Ram-Amon, who spared no Attribute when seeking to make himself a more capable Right-Hand 'Man'.

It goes without saying that it worked, a little too well.

Also worth noting that logically speaking, there is only one reason I can think of that Jezmine would be able to turn into a Giant Snake matching Set in terms of size. Ew.

I do have to nit pick.. on list of TFs for Conan I kind of covered them all already. I actually missed few now that I recall.
Conan's friend Zula often communed with a nature god called Jebal-Sag (I think that's how it's spelled) and eventually directly asked him for help. Jebal-Sag manifested by making several animals merge to form him a body, he was captured and corrupted (and save by the heroes of course).
Another involved Warth-amon's toady Dreggs the Naga, when Warth-Amon had to revert to his lizard form and hibernate to restore his power Dreggs substituted for him and got a minor height/length increase, he didn't have permission but since Set kind of approved he got away with it.
One episode had a Gorgon who got "payed" for her services with two dragonmen to add to her stature garden, when she was petrified by her own gaze only they reverted, everyone else being long dead.
Another episode had a sorceress truing Greywolf into a wolfdog like his siblings for a while so he could understand what their situation as fully sentient wolves was like.
Lastly we have Conan's companion Needle the baby Phoenix, who had to do good deeds to become an adult, he could turn himself into a Phoenix emblem on any relatively flat surface and "lived in" a shield a wizard gave Conan. He also got age progressed and age regressed during one episode which also featured a "Dark" Phoenix(one who mature though acts of evil) being reborn and purified.

The serpentmen's disguises being stripped away happened constantly and often to groups. And yea it was pretty much implied in the bad future that Jasmine was forced to be Set's Bodyguard/Concubine apparently there are no natural serpentwomen... so yea she was his only option for physical intimacy (I doubt any goddesses wanted to sleep with him)

Dregs-Amon the Great. Wrath-Amon was actually forced to shed (something he had hoped to avoid), with the warning that he'd die if he didn't - and Set really did say that. Also where even that Black Ring couldn't change the fact that Dregs was so hopelessly incompetent, he eventually pissed off Set to the point that he refused to recharge the Black Ring.

I'm pretty sure this Gorgon was male, and only the ones directly petrified by him were reverted once he'd stared into his own reflection.

Actually there are natural Serpentwomen, but they really weren't shown all that much. Just one episode really if I remember right, where to get a small kingdom she'd married said kingdom's King. Needless to say, said marriage would've been annulled shortly after.

Concubine is very much the implication, I'll agree.

I think the only one really left now, is one episode where Conan and Greywolf were aged dramatically having had their youth stolen from them by a wizard, forcing Conan to use intelligence to defeat the one who'd taken it. Conan won.

Actually the bat was the main bad guy himself, though I recall the bad guys where already mutants, guess we had to make sure everyone knew they where the bad guys.
I do remember SwampThing was shown on USA network, who in the 90's did several original cartoons. Mortal Kombat Defenders of the Realm was a toned down and overtly formulaic adaptation. Street Fighter seemed unable to decide if it was adapting the games or the Jean-Claude-Van Damme film as it seemed to feature aspects unique to that film, namely Blanka's origin a sa mutated Chalie, oddly someone create "Carlos Blanka" for the MUGEN fighting game that was this character. Savage Dragon was a decent adaptation of the source material, the series was about human mutants called Super Freaks and one episode featured a freak who could reverse the mutations. The Wing Commander Cartoon was utterly forgettable.

Also in the 90's we had an adaption of the Mutant League video games. she show revolving around extreme versions of sports with teams of human mutants who has extreme regeneration powers ("Troll" mutants could survive beheading). The show's main plot/set up featured a giant earthquake in the middle of a football game exposing decades worth of illegal toxic dumping, ejecting a toxic soup into the stadium and mutating the players and fans. One episode had a bigoted man protesting the league fall into the toxic lake the shows original disaster created and mutating, but due to years of "settling" his mutation was more animal like, lacked regeneration powers and wore off. The episode I remember most was one where the hero. Bones Justice, got suspended when normal human kids imitated one of his signature moves and got badly hurt. I though it was interesting as it seemed like a per-emptive defense for the show's level of violence.

the series Extreme Ghostbusters, which was better than it sounds, followed a new Ghostbusters Team recruited from Egon Spengler's collage class. It didn't run long but had a some transformations. The series opener had one of the XGBs, Kylie the goth chick, possessed by a Mayan Plague goddess who triggered the renewed spirit activity that cause the XGN to form, the Real Ghost Busters having retired and split up when they stopped getting calls. 3 Witches in collage used transformation based revenge spells as as a cost when the ghost that give them powers inevitably betrayed them got turned into monsters based on them. An episode revisited the Grundle, a sort of evil Pete Pan entity that whisked away kids promising them they would never need to grow up, but really turned them into more Grundles. In another episode we had Jennine being seduced by a Latino businessman who turned out to be a Insect Demon who kidnapped her and transformed her into his queen, he claimed was by erasing her humanity. We had the XGB attacked by Fenrus, the RGB having captured Surtor, who transformed 4 of the characters into "vanguard" monsters to help him destroy the containment unit and free Surtor. Lastly one had XGB Edwardo making a careless wish that Kylie payed more attention to him getting him put inside the body of her cat.
