Re: Devolution

I didn't see the episode and it's technically not a real transformation (as far as the actual show anyway) but the image alone looks amazing:

Big Bang Theory - "The Gorilla Dissolution" Penny takes a part in a low-budget horror movie, playing a go-go dancer who mutates into an ape monster (Wil Wheaton is also in the movie).

Re: Devolution

I used to really like this show. Now it just depresses me. I know all the "loser nerd" cliches have their basis in reality, but I don't see the point in having my face rubbed in them all the time. The later seasons seem more about laughing AT the characters, as opposed to laughing WITH them.

Re: Devolution

oh yes there are. Most are stubs, not longer than one or two chapters, though.
Here are a few links:

Estella Warren devolves:

Jessica Simpson's devolution

Magic Wand: Jennifer Ape-iston

Another Magic Wand chapter

Loser Heroes: Wonder Beast (liked that one )
http://www.bearchive.com/~addventure...39/539813.html

Beth devolves. ( Basically the start of the WWE Raw devolution branches - with a lot of celebrity neanderthals)
http://www.bearchive.com/~addventure...23/723957.html

Primitive aerobics
http://www.bearchive.com/~addventure...41/741262.html

Bleach: A Pill to Alter and Transform ( This one has a very long storyline with a lot of TF for the bleach characters.)
http://www.bearchive.com/~addventure...53/753222.html

Loser Heroes: Wonder Woman: Grodd's sidekick
http://www.bearchive.com/~addventure...81/781316.html

Teen muscle (just a slight devolution, but it had prospect for more)
http://www.bearchive.com/~addventure...33/733988.html

MW Ballet Studio: Things get hairy for Carrie
http://www.bearchive.com/~addventure...75/775495.html

Celebrity Changer: Lacey's devolution. (This one is really not bad, the TFs are among the better written ones, i think)
http://www.bearchive.com/~addventure...14/914126.html

Jim MW: Devolving Corine (a were-cavewoman... Why not?)
http://www.bearchive.com/~addventure...97/997739.html

Aaand, last but not least the amazing ...Marvel Cavemen!
http://www.bearchive.com/~addventure...29/729950.html

there are probably more of course...

Oh hey, so you're the one behind that great sequence! And i see Alphine-Century is here too. You guys do great work.

Well instead of double posting, I'll edit this.

I'm not exactly sure if this is considered de-evolution. However, I always thought that the Oozaru form of saiyans where somewhat analogous to a de-evolution, considering their reduced capacity for rational thinking. Sucks that there's not enough of this. Perhaps the world is not ready for giant monkey boobs.

Re: Devolution

Something that may be of interest: The novel Primal Tears, which features a half-bonobo woman, is coming out on ebook formats in three days.

Quote:
Primal Tears is the story of Sage, born to a young woman who has volunteered to be a surrogate mother for an endangered species of chimpanzee. The process goes awry, and Sage, a lovable youngster, is neither completely one species nor the other. When her existence becomes public knowledge, she needs all the best characteristics of both species to find a place for herself in our human-dominated world.
Links for purchase on Amazon and Barnes & Noble depending on your reader.
