Hi,

This one needs a bit of context. This tf takes from the Dr. Who universe and the cybermen, one of the franchise's oldest antagonists. As seen in their name, they are a race of cyborgs who do not reproduce but assimilate other, seemingly, humanoid species into their ranks through a process of conversion; a concept of replacing flesh with cybernetics, bionics and other synthetic materials, though it also culminates in the suppression or deletion of the subjects original personality. The process found was taken from a BBC radio drama ,broadcast on the web back in 2002, that originally depicted the conversion on screen but now seems inaccessible, though it still exists as an audio file; the contents of which portray the conversion of an unsedated subject.

Yeah, this was a program by the BBC during the down time from the TV Movie (1996) and the relaunch (2005) of the Russell T. Davies brand of WHO.

It stars Colin Baker (the 6th Doctor) and Maggie Staples as his assistant. Not a bad audio drama overall. Fairly well animated as well. For those who didn't like Colin during his original run as the Doctor on the Beeb, give this one a chance as he's finally playing the Doctor the way HE wanted to, not then-producer John Nathan-Turner.
