Just...practice them. Especially Shoyruken. The combo version of it is devastatingly powerful compared to the quick version. It adds invulnerability frames and it can KO anyone easily if they are even CLOSE to 100%.

As for the music...I want Guiles theme and I want it available on every stage. Because GUILES THEME GOES WITH EVERYTHING!

At least we get Kens theme on the WiiU version of the stage.....though that just makes me want Ken in the game even more.

Wouldn't be hard....he is already a Ryu clone. Just make him have a fire Shoyruken instead of the fire Hadoken, and make his Shin Shoyruken into the multi-hit Shoyruken that he was known for.

Re: New Smash Bros!

Okay, finally actually got them all. Dang is Roy a lot better than he was in Melee. Plus Golden Justice Roy looks so much better.

It might just be because it's early and people are still figuring him out, but does his forward tilt seem ridiculous to anyone else? Fast, decent range, and kills absurdly early for a tilt.

Re: New Smash Bros!

I'm a little disappointed that the 3DS version doesn't get the Miiverse stage. I mean, I understand that the handheld can't run Smash and Miiverse at the same time, but surely they could have worked out some sort of SpotPass thing to let it download a few random images to use when the game isn't being played.

Also, the YouTube replay upload deal: again neglecting the 3DS version. Those replays should be able to be accessed by the system itself, right? That should allow for YouTube uploads somehow...

Re: New Smash Bros!

I had no interest in Roy...so didn't buy him.

I hate having to pay money to unlock characters who are simply clones of pre-existing characters (Lucas = Ness, Roy = Marth/Lucina).

Actually, Roy plays way differently then Marth or Lucina, he hits way harder and his moves feel different from theirs

Lucas is as much a clone of Ness as Ganondorf is of Captain Falcon.

His trouser snake got a massive boost in length this time around. ('-' )

Ganondorf's more of a clone than Lucas; he still has a good half of Falcon's moves. And still only one is something he's ever actually done and it's not remotely iconic.

This is something I'd like to see quantified if possible. I stand by the fact that Lucas/Ganondorf are different enough from their "Base" that their playstyle is completely different. Seriously, Ganondorf's Up Tilt alone is different from everyone else's in the sense that it's slower than his Up Smash.

Oh, yes, I agree; neither's really a clone; my fault with Ganondorf is that he fights absolutely nothing like he should.

But uh...

Falcon/Ganon
Jab - different
Ftilt - different
Utilt - different
Dtilt - different
Dash attack - same
Fsmash - same
Usmash - different
Dsmash - same
nair - same
fair - different
uair - same
bair - same
dair - same
fthrow - different
uthrow - different
bthrow - same
dthrow - same
B - same
>B - different
^B - ...not sure whether this is the same or different, honestly. Whether the little derp hit at the end makes it different enough or not.
vB - same

11/21 moves still shared. Or maybe 12. Depends on his ^B's status.

Ness/Lucas

Jab - different
Ftilt - different
Utilt - different
Dtilt - same
Dash attack - different
Fsmash - same
Usmash - different
Dsmash - different
nair - different
fair - different
uair - same
bair - different
dair - different
fthrow - different
uthrow - different
bthrow - same
dthrow - ...I honestly don't recall
B - same but with a mechanics change
>B - different
^B - same
vB - same but with a mechanics change

7 or 8/21 shared, since I can't remember dthrow, and two of those have a significant mechanics change.

Well. Didn't quite expect that. When I said quantified though, I really meant their general playstyles. If you base it strictly off of moves with similar animations, yeah they're more clone-y. Things that should be considered are:

* Major differences in height, weight and practically anything physics-related (pretty sure the Mother's boys are pretty much the same here)
* Falcon can wall-jump. Hell, Falcon can jump in general.
* Ganondorf kills SIGNIFICANTLY earlier in general.
* Falcon's better at spiking due to mad hops, Ganon is better at OoS Dair kills due to bunny hops.
* Ganon needs to rely on Flame Choke setups and punishes, Falcon just jumps right in and serves flaming hot knuckle sandwhich combos.
* Ganon got super armor frames on neutral B. Easy to forget where they are and get yourself killed.
* Ganon has a spiking hitbox on Down B. Easy to forget where it is and get yourself killed.
* Completely different Final Smashes.
