I've found that this is the best downloading software that I've used so far. It's easy and integrates itself into firefox. Plus when you don't feel like using it you can just close it.

I've gotten things from Youtube, Dailymotion, G4, and it even works on the EM video vault..

It worked the first time, but it keeps saying download failed when I try it again.

I don't know about orbit, but this is pretty good for firefox users:

It's free, of course, and they are always updating it and tweaking it. They also have a great video site list.
