Well I was finally ready to commission an illustration based on https://www.fanfiction.net/s/9717629...with-the-Fungi but... it looks like Apocallisti has disappeared from the internet.

halp? Anyone have any tips & tricks for finding artists who will draw a 3-ish figure picture with a background for roughly $100?

One of the more interesting transformations (more along the humiliation angle - and not really any process) that I remember from a while back...was the Authority follow-on miniseries (don't remember the TPB # offhand - mine's in storage - "Transfer of Power") - where the Authority is replaced by the gov't approved models - and Swift is reduced to a sort of bimbo housewife...more of an MC issue I guess...but the superhero reference brought it back.

Not sure, they work for me - I just did a google images search, and copied/pasted the links. Might need to enable java? Maybe just copy/paste the links in google too.

Anyone that's been keeping tabs on Fairy Tail knows that we've been teased with the corruption of a couple of important characters for a while now. This latest chapter, we finally got to see one of them having been transformed into a demon, as well as a pretty strong flag indicating the eventual (less pretty) fate of the other.

I am just curious if this is a flashback arch or not, since as I understood the character Mira's magic is "Take Over" Magic, where the user transforms all or part of their body into another creature. Mira uses Demons, her brother Elfman uses Monsters and their little sister used Animals. Most of the important wizards in the Fairy Tale guild got chapters explaining the origins of their powers and personality quirks. One of the draw backs of Take Over Magic if that the user can be temporarily consumed by the personality of the creature, making Mira a karma Yo-yo, becoming corrupt when she transforms but getting "better" when she changes back.
