Girl Beats Boy
Well first off I wanted to apologize for the stupid mistakes I did the first time I made this thread.
I`ll start over again. Some of you may have come across this site at some point like I did when I was looking for GTS online for the first time: http://www.ichizo.net/menu.html For those who have we were incredibly satisfied checking out the free illustrations and manga that were available in this section of the site: http://www.ichizo.net/index2.html However the most frustrating thing about the site is this: http://www.ichizo.net/dojin/index.html The artist does release doujinshi of their mini-GTS awsome-ness and we could do nothing but stare at the volume covers and a few preview pics. The authour states on the site that they dont do international shipping and none of the volumes were available to find online to order. However about the time of vol.01 and 02`s release. The site put the vol.01 and 02 for sale on DLsite. He posted the link to the dlsite in the last link I posted but I`ll make it convenient and put it here: http://maniax.dlsite.com/search/resu...ker_id/RG02537 The name of the site is "Girl Beats Boy" though the dojinshi volumes are called "Otoko no Tatakai" which I beleive translates to "A Boys Fight" But I`ll call it GBB since it sounds better. Anyway GBB is nearly 10 years old now!!!! So yeah soon vols.1 and 2 became easier to find online. I`m assuming someone bought them from the dlsite and then spread them on the net. In fact its quite likely since the links were PDF and were that to begin with. Anyway! Over time Wieold from GTS-CITY managed to get his hands on vols.5, 8, 11, 12, 13 and a Special. He posted them individually at a snails pace. Then a few months ago I by a miracle managed to obtain physical copies of volumes 2, 3, 4, 5 and 9. Wieold and I pretty much finished at the same time posting the volumes we had at the same time. And by some miracle we managed to accumulate 10/13 of the GBB volumes!!!!!(You can exclude vol.1 and 2 for being avaiable to buy online). I count myself EXTREMELY lucky to get a physical copy of vol.2 and vols 3 and 4. Information regarding GBB outside of the official site is virtually non-existant! This is the only thing I found and it was put up all at once just about 2 years ago: http://doujinshi.mugimugi.org/browse/circle/6397/ the covers for vols.3 and 4 were not there and 1 and 2 were not added there either so yeah "VERY HARD TO FIND" I also recently discovered through a ramdom thread on7chan that someone went trhough the trouble of translating volume 02. Which was INSANELY Amazing stuff!!! I made a thread recently in the GTS section which was kind of dumb considering theres no process in GBB. But I completely forgot that(I didnt know it was a rule but I would not have done it anyway) vol.01 and vol.02 are available to buy so sharing them here was really REALLY bad on my part. I`m really sorry for that. though I am not sure about vols.3+ the author has not made any effort to sell those volumes to us so..... Can someone tell me if the following is an OK? 1)Post the volumes in individual pages through the attachment system rather through a download link 2)Is the translated version of vol.02 ok to post despite the original raw being available to buy. I hope someone like Lorekeep or somene high-up in the forum will confirm if these are okay. In any case with any luck we may see the volumes that Wieold and I provided translated. I have attached the volume covers and a preview of vol.02 in english. It took 10 years but Wieold and I managed to do it somehow. Last edited by chachazero90; 03-14-2011 at 01:00 PM. |
