The Wotch website down or dead

I just went to view the webcomic The Wotch and all I am seeing is a domain default page. Does this mean that the webcomic is gone now or are they doing an update?

Nah, there was a server crash. Literally, someone dropped the 910CMX server. Now they'll need to get the data recovered, set up a new one... it'll be a hassle and a half, but that's all.

Incidentally, they'd been updating recently, though not on a regular basis (a Friday one week, a Monday two weeks later, etc.).

Yeah, the little server crash delayed our updates. I've actually got a buffer of about 5 comics, but the delay in recreating the site hasn't allowed me time to color them. I'll have some fillers up, 'cause those are fun, while the actually guts of the site are being recreated, but as soon as i'm done coloring a page it's going to go up as well.

The Wotch isn't going to rely on the backup, I'm going to basically start from scratch with all new back-end software, since i have my full comic archive saved on my computer. And i finally got my facebook link on the front page!

All the other 910CMX Hosted comics are working to get themselves back up as well, so it'll be slow going, but at least the new host has one of those 99.99% up-time guarantees on it.
