Heh, I know right. They do look like a CGI upgrade to how they were on stage. I don't know why anyone would complain about them not being anatomically correct.

Well for one I want cat eyes and fangs but yes I’m going to fap to this a lot and I also had my wife give me an old fashion at cats play which was fantastic

Decidedly going to see this, but I thought they reaaaally could have done cat noses in their gap of updates and changes that I've seen like changing tails. I decided to do some edits of my own to show how much better it would be. It's so uncanny because of the very human faces with "naked" cat fur bodies, ears and tails

I realize the animators were having to walk a dangerous tightrope between human and animal, but making their faces almost wholly human knocked the look right over into the uncanny valley. It's astonishing how something as simple as a nose adjustment makes all the difference in the world.
