One of the younger characters ages during a timeskip from 8 years old to 15. Before reading the latest chapter and spoiling the story I recommend trying reading the manga itself since it is quite good.

I got really frustrated with the Dr Stone anime and gave up on it. Too many science errors for something that plays up science so much - and the background story makes no sense at all.
