Loosing my patrons... o.O

Over the last two month, I lost almost half my patreons revenus and today, I lost SEVEN patrons in five hours... What I don't get is that I keep same quality, I even improoved my work... Nobody tell me what's happening and I'm getting kind of worried about it... :/

My best guess is that people have lost trust in Patreon. Only other thing is people have life issues and have to cut spending. Other than that I have no idea.

I have a writing Patreon rather than art so I can only speak from that side of things.

What are your tiers? What kind of perks do you offer? How often do you post and what kind of art do you usually post for patrons? Have you changed anything at all?

To me it has to be consistency. If your not putting out work on a consistent basis I’ll probably won’t support that artist. For example I love Surody’s TG work but he is very inconsistent and sometimes doesn’t post any works or work that is promised for the month. To be fair he does refund the money since he didn’t keep his end but still no consistent content no support. You can say oh wait look at this awesome work I did and then spit out lots of other works that is not on the same level of the previous work... so yeah I wouldn’t pay either.

I gave up on patreon If folks want to see my stuff they can email and pay me directly. :/ fans are all "there's no good content out there!" But dont want to support creators. They are all ungreaful. And we are just vending machines that shit out art. I used to upload every month without fail and all I'd get was people contacting me if I'd upload more free stuff.

They can all fuck off.

The complaint is the same as it would have been 15 -20 years ago.

Whats different is that the "Is tf dying?" question
might actually be "Yes it is dying" after 15 - 20 years

That and overall the sunny days in the world overall might be over for the next while
