I'm all for youtube animators opening up patreons (seriously, youtube's pay system is shit for animation content) but yeah, the higher-up rewards don't really seem worth the money you'd be putting in to it. You could commission a six-panel transformation for a quarter of the price you'd get one here.

I checked out the his site the first time and noticed that it had two people taking part of it and had about $48 or so. I'm certain that it increased as of late, but I didn't want to go in there just yet. My experience tells me that if you wait a few months to see how well he's fairing, and then make a decision on being a member of his site or not.
As far as payment goes, I suppose I would go with twenty dollars. After all, giving the price range between one and two hundred, twenty seems like a fair bargain, even if it's monthly. |
