Patreon - Loosing my patrons... o.O

Recently, I lost many patrons on my patreon. I’m doing my best tok ask them what they want but I don’t get any feedback.

I’m not complaining or anything. I just have a question to other patreon users : could it be the time of the year? Is there something I could do to improove my work and jeep my patrons happy? Is it usual to loose so much patrons after everything was going well for over six months?

Don’t worry, I’m not upset or anything, I just want to learn and improove!

Didn't they change their payment scheme?

I think they backtracked but that might be why, -provided you have been meeting your obligations.

Re: Patreon - Loosing my patrons... o.O

My first thought was that I looked at the calendar.

I don't believe it's uncommon for people to overspend during the holidays, then have to make some financial cutbacks to get back on budget, and it's not something people like to admit (thus, the silence in response to your inquiries - just wish them well and hope that they return when they're able to do so, those who can will if they understand more that you're concerned about them than their money).

Maybe something along the lines of "I'm sorry to see you go, but I understand completely (especially given the time of year) and hope to see you back when you're ready. In the meantime, if there's anything I can do to help, please let me know."

If they have a brain, they won't make financial demands in response to genuine concern, and those who do are either joking or seriously not worth having as supporters. "Sorry, I'm having a tough time myself, so that's one area where I can't help you. I'd love to have you back when you're back on your feet, though!"
