Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero

A game came out a few days ago called Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, a fun platformer starting a cute genie girl, has a bunch of cute monster girl enemies and a main mechanic involves you turning into a bunch of animals and monster girls (monkey, mouse bat, elephant, crab, a pot, a dryad/tree girl, a harpy, spider girl, mermaid and probably others). Game is a lot of fun and is available for cheap on all the current consoles and Steam.

Yup, fun game, very cute. I backed it on Kickstarter the minute I heard it was being made so I got to play it a week earlier than the official release.

It's not very long, but it's sort of meant to be speed run. Though I did take my time the first run through so as to appreciate the art and soundtrack.

In other news, it's a whole lot of fun, has a great soundtrack, and feels as close to playing a cartoon as I've come in a good many years. Highly recommended.

I definitely think it's one of the best looking games since Don't Starve or Darkest Dungeon.

I been playing the game for a couple days now! And I love it, the animal transformations are cute, I love the Spider-girl and Mermaid forms.

And the females in the game, are totally sexy. including the female enemies, love the Giga Mermaid boss battle! ^_^

I will always miss the way they TF'ed Shantae in the first game
Like, the first time you got a TF it showed real time process...ON A FUCKING GAME BOY COLOR.
One of the funding tiers was fully animated cutscenes...I wonder if a TF sequence would have been one of those plans...darn
