Potential process in this 2015 movie?

Looks quirky enough, came out last year, has this cropped up on the forum at all?
No confirmed process but apparently the two mermaids transform onstage according to the film premise on wikipedia, anyone know more about this? The posters are really cool too

I've read a number of articles about it on Twitchfilm.net - waiting to check it out eventually. Looks interesting either way.

Looks interesting!

I don't see a mention of Killer Mermaid (aka Nymph) in the forums, but that may just be my incompetent search skills. Trailer is here https://youtu.be/xhClk8DkF4I and it's up on Netflix now. Interesting movie, part slasher, part monster, with a gorgeous woman playing the mermaid. Not a lot of process, more of a pop change but she morphs from gorgeous to shark faced several times. Tail effect is well done and she is very easy to look at

"The Lure" is just now playing in limited theaters in the U.S.

I happened to see it this weekend, and I can report that there's only one brief bit of legs-to-tail process, near the beginning of the film. The on-stage transformation mentioned on Wikipedia happens as a cutaway (as do all the other leg-to-tail/tail-to-leg transformations).

However, I would still recommend it for fans of mermaids -- I thought the tails seemed really well-done in the scenes where the actresses had them. There's also a little bit of a mind-control element as well, although that aspect wasn't developed as much as I would have liked. (Note that it would also help considerably if you're also a fan of horror movies, and of early-1980s European disco music, since there's a fair amount of blood and quite a lot of musical numbers.)

Connected to this theme, we also have "Seiren". No info about its release, but the female performer is really pretty:

Good luck with the finding :P

Before anyone comes along to crap on you for necro-ing this thread, it looks like the reason it got pulled off YouTube was because the studio decided to throw it into a compilation DVD: https://www.comingsoon.net/horror/ne...or-compilation

I had been digging for it myself a few weeks ago, and that's how I found out about it. Will say, though, looking through the rest of their library, I saw some titles that intrigued me. Watched one, and really liked it. Not really process, though some might argue it can go under the "corruption" genre. Either way, I enjoyed it. It was called, "Let Her Out"
