well the anime is really going slow paced some episodes are only one manga chapter, so i don't think they are skipping it also it had a kinda AR from shizu going back to her home while adult > teen > child but with clothes changes.

true, i like how they extend the character development from shizu, it didn't happen on manga so the anime is probably using LN as base.

I had actually completely forgotten about that lmao. Honestly, there are a lot of manga I know where AR/AP happens. There is another that I might post that's another Isekai, where the main protag finds a fruit from a tree that can decrease and increase age and he imagines his two female characters as children. But we'll see a TG most definitely occur in it, when he transforms himself into a woman to "guard"/"watch over" one of his slaves that wants to become an adventurer, but he worries to much and doesn't want her to know lol.

I'm going to go with more than probably, they went with the LN. Since the LN went more indepth with Shizu, but a bit of a spoiler. She does have a few more moments, but way way foreward in time. Talking like damn near and of the LN.

Shizu appear one more time in the LN, near the middle of the story. Where Shizu shows up during a fight between the MC and one of Shizu's old students. This is the last time we "see" her but we also hear her voice at the end of the LN when Mr. Big Bad Evil guy get's absorbed, he hears Shizu's voice, welcoming him.

yup, was quite hilarious XD, next episode we SHOULD get the Ogre names, that transform them into Oni's. They'll all get a little sexier as a result of the naming, but he passes out after naming them again, so we don't see the transformation.

As a side note, in the manga, he didn't simply take back the body double. He just increased its size and shape with the magical particles in the air. So they changed it somewhat it looks like, to save on animation costs. But we still got it

Now we only have to wait like 3 years for the next one. Where he becomes a true dragon and gains the form of a teenager and the fairy queen gains the form of an adult for like one chapter. XD LOL

bit of a spoiler, so just don't read past this point if you don't want to know what happens.

it's going to be after this story arc (should be), that he realizes he can put Vandelue the great dragon in a body double. Which the dragon then modifies to be a more handsome male body. We also learn, the reason he's been able to name so many people at once, is because the Dragon has been allowing Rimiru to tap into his power when he runs low and he complains about it, lol. The nice thing though is, because of there link, they're always connected and their power is always shared with one another.

Actually, an 'aged up' Rimuru doesn't really seem kosher to me this time, mainly because of how much he wants to respect Shizu's memories. So it just feels wrong for me. (Plus I kinda like how it kinda looks androgyny as well.)

Though there is a fox that 'levels up. It's not really that detailed of a process, and I think the fox was already like an adult when it started.

so we got the beautification of the Ogre's into (oh god I don't know why the translation team called them what they did, the actual translation is) Oni. It's not a huge change, just look a little cuter over all.

I was discussing with another friend of mine about the pacing of the anime which is awesome, but I'm going to guess we're only going to get 12 episodes like most light novel animes. It's possible we could get 13, which is the only way I can see to finish the current arc of the story. So kind of worried we might not have enough episodes to finish.

i have good news for you, we are actually getting 24 episodes that's why it is so slow paced like 1-2 chapter per episode, well from the ending we already know that at least mirin is going to appear so maybe it won't be only the orc arc.

OH! I wasn't aware of that! So yeah! we'll for sure get to the Mirin arc, but now I kind of wonder where they'll end the season XD LOL. They might end it with Rimuru going to the city, which directly starts the next story arc. Which would be a good ending point for the season before we start getting into the real meat of the future story arcs.

Loving the new episode and how they did "Great Sage Mode". A bit of a minor spoiler, but I'm not really aware of any other time he does this in the LN or Manga. He DOES use Great Sage though from time to time in battles to do complex magic equations and battle scenarios later. Also, hurray! First time Great Sage starts showing a personality. Another minor spoiler, Great Sage can evolve and get stronger, it's a skill after all
