My guess is that the Google crawler happened to try to visit the site while it was down during the switchover to the new version, and reported back that the site wasn't working, which took it out of the Google results.
I'm sure it'll be back once the crawler tries again. |

Without knowing what that is (but getting a pretty good idea from context anyway), I'm imagining the Google crawler to be some manner of spiderlike creature that roams the internet under Google's bidding.
