I'm looking for some mergers were both parties involved stay seperate entities tied to the same body, man to woman is fine, no man to man.

There is a movie called.. umm.. Freaked if I recall correctly, and it involves the merging of a man and a woman. They are conjoined like the above picture, and they stay like that throughout the whole movie. They are only side characters though, so they dont get much screen time.

You would be correct. One of my favorite movies too! Mr. T is a little creepy as the bearded woman however.
