My hentai games (in production)

If you follow me on DA or Tumblr, you know by now that I'm working on quite a few hentai games/interactive flash movies. Some are still in pre-production, but others are half-complete or have started production/scripting. I am still unsure if I'll post every single games in detail on this thread or if I'll make a different thread for each project. But for now this will be the place where I talk about my games and ask for donations.

First of all, a difference between me and the I'm sure many of others who have created similar threads like this one in the past, is that I'm not 12-16 years old and I actually have made games and flash movies before. I also have a background in Arts and I have studied in game design and level design.

The games I am making are (the titles are not final lol):

These are all in Flash. 1 and 2 are 2D. 3, 4 and 5 use 3D animation/sprites but they're still 2D. I can also do 3D mods (unity, garry's) but they are more complex and would require a team and more work.

The most ambitious ones are #3 and #4 as they are much longer and have many more characters than the other three. For this reason they are also the less likely to be completely finished unless I get help (more money and a team of scripters/artists which is also unlikely). Realistically/at best I am hoping to create a short version/prototype of these two games and simplify them. This will at least showcase what I was aiming for and might encourage more people to join/support the project.

But the other 3 games/movies are pretty simple and relatively short so they're definitely doable.

EDIT: I know there's really not a lot of info about the other games right now. But I'll keep updating this thread. I'd like to know which project you find the most interesting and what you'd like to see added. Ideas are of course welcomed.


Why donate to GBS games?

Due to legal reasons I cannot sell some of these games. For example: my hentai game featuring Juri (owned by Capcom) would be considered copyright infringement. Which means I can only make fan-made games/movies for fun and for personal use that would be 100% free for everyone. And that means I am working very hard for literally nothing in return. Donations are a legal way to make money out of something that I cannot sell. So all I can do is kindly ask for donations to help me out. I would start a “kickstarter” but they don’t allow hentai/pornographic content and I don’t know any similar website that do.

Your money could help me buy a new tablet which will allow me to work better and faster than before. It will also help motivate me to keep working on these projects.

I'm honestly tempted to come up with a hentai game dev site. I'd easily profit from all the people that think they could casually waltz into game development and expect to become the next Fenoxo just for printing a pair of ASCII boobs to the screen. ('-' )

Not to be a cynic, but I'm just going to give you the same generic rundown I've been giving to everyone else, because this is getting to become pretty frequent: Game Dev is hard. Do not underestimate it. You need to come up with a pretty healthy demo before you can expect donations, as well as some decent marketing skills. Having the community become saturated with half-hearted games poisons the donation pool and discourages people from contributing to future efforts.

Well you probably won't find too many of my projects. Maybe a few ancient tech demos from when I was still learning (Heck, you may even come across my old gamemaker project if you comb the forum extensively). But I can't say I have any super-ambitious NSFW project far enough out of prototype stage that I feel like I could comfortably start a dev blog and update it with decent frequency.

Before that happens, I need a genuinely rock-solid game idea to work with; one that's fun even without the hentai element. And unfortunately, I can only extract so much out of forum goers without overly raising expectations or leading threads into flame wars over what makes a bimbo. Personal experience.

Yeah I think it's safe to say we all go through there.

First games I tried to make were on Game Maker but they were way too ambitious. I was trying to make my dream game but then had too many complex mechanics to code so it was just a big mess.

Another disaster game I tried to make was a platformer with fighting and rpg elements. But switching from a platform to a fighting game was tougher than I thought. Especially with breast expansion, transformation and/or muscle growth involved. Also scripting a combo system from scratch turned out to be a bitch lol.

I learned a long time ago that any transformation doubles the amount of sprites and work you need for a single character. Which is in part why I started using Poser to make my sprites instead of just drawing them all. It cuts at least half of the work and makes it very easy to use the same animation template and just change the hair/clothes/morphs of the model. The only problem with Poser is how long it takes to calculate dynamic clothing and then to render animations at decent quality. But I've heard that Octane Render does wonders and triples the speed of the Poser rendering so I'm looking into it.

I know what I'm capable of doing but also know what are my limits, both as a scripter and an artist. So I'm trying really hard not to get carried away and add too many features so I'm focusing on the basics. Just trying to make simple and short flash games.

3 of these projects are very basic for the most part. It only involves simple interactive buttons with body parts and background items + decision trees in dialogues that make you jump from one scene to another. Then it's again just a bunch of buttons that change angle/tempo. That's all basic flash things that I've already scripted and shown before. The problem for some of these games is not scripting them, it's creating all the art and animations and that sometimes takes a lot more time than it seems.

5.3 I have already started working on the game and I have most of it planned, drawn, animated and scripted out. This is a pretty simple flash game without complex mechanics so it's not hard to make. What takes the most effort and time is doing all the drawings and animations for each scene.
