I post my work on Furaffinity, although the old dolphin isn't there, someone has uploaded it onto youtube if you search for dolphin transformation.

Although I've done some FX work professionally, this animation was done on my laptop using Daz & Carrara software, which is basically hobby software. The daz range is good in as far as it's affordable and also has lots of pre made elements. The snake and woman were pre made although I resurfaced them. The transitional forms were remodelled aspects of either the woman or snake model fed through zbrush.

Holy fucking shit. At first I thought this was going to be an April's Fool's day prank. But it ended up being the best thing I've seen EVAR. Thanks for posting that!

And thank you gryf for making it. That was by far the best transformation video I've ever seen. It had so many great elements that make it just so fucking awesome. You've got a beautiful naked woman on her knees in the wilderness, breathing heavily, drenched in sweat; why can't all TFs start that way? The TF itself was just amazing, the pulsating morphing action was great, the scales appearing all over, bones crunching under sweaty female flesh as it remolded. I loved the attention paid to the shrinking breasts and the growing tail, it was gorgeous all the way through from beginning to end. I applaud you sir, that was truly fantastic.

Okay, that's it. I'm throwing in the towel. I can never hope to reach that level of awesomeness. Excuse me why I go delete all my rendering software and hurl my computer into the sea.

Screw that Gen san! You should use this just to help prove to yourself that you can do things in a similar fashion to Gryf! He's using several of the same programs you do but if I had to guess, he's just had more time to practice. Don't throw in the towel unless you want me to catch it and snap your ass with it.....repeatedly!

What you need to do GenYun is to try and out do Gryf rather than bow to his superiorness.

Ha!... unlikely. I have no clue how to use anything other than daz studio and that doesn't come anywhere close to matching whatever Gryf is using. I'm guessing 3d max or Zbrush.

Don't mind me! this was just another overly dramatic moment, brought to you by the letter D and the number 3.

If I can be serious for a moment, how much time does it take to make such impressive animations like this?

Re: New Animation From Gryf: Weresnake Transformation

Wuschel and Cactus Jack - the whole thing was started this time last year, but I worked on it on and off. Shots averaged 3 to 4 days work, but this was scattered over that 12 months. In comparison the dolphin was done in under 3 weeks. This is slightly more complicated and took longer to render, but towards the end I found efficiencies which made things quicker.
