Re: The Slingshot Effect

We've seen AR-to-AP, but how about the reverse? A teenage girl uses a process to become an adult, but slingshots into a 6-year-old body.

(I suppose I should mention the scenes from Pretty Sammy and Brigadoon, which didn't come to mind until just now.)

There's also this old movie "The Leech woman" that has pretty much the same plot device as above, although set in modern times.

It starts here and continues in the following parts.

It's a very interesting concept. It's often tied into the "just desserts" type of moral justice =-)

Re: The Slingshot Effect

The story "Hollywood Hills" at BE Story Club has an aging actress who takes an AR potion, first it turns her 45 -> 35, then 35 -> 20+. Then she tries to let it wear off, but ends up at older than ever, so she quickly regrets that...

Re: The Slingshot Effect

I remember reading a webcomic called "Sokora Refugees", in which the protagonist Kana (ignored by most boys at school, nicknamed "No-Cans") time-shares a body with an elven sorceress named Veila (voluptuous, large rack, really long hair). Whenever she is embarrassed (blushes) she turns into Veila, but whenever she becomes proud (arrogant) she turns back into herself. If only the website wasn't lost/on hiatus...

Also, can anyone post some of those ones where the guy goes all-out male only to be slingshotted to all-out woman? Thanks!

I ended up downloading it, since you can't buy it. It's interesting how they pull the whole thing off.

Re: The Slingshot Effect

The online novel Jekyll's Daughter centres around a youth/beauty potion which has a bit of a slingshot effect.

That comic has been drawn twice, first in the 1960s (kinda awfully drawn) and then in the 1990s (looks great).
I found the 1960's version here:

It's in Hindi, but the blog post summarizes the plot in English.
