Body expansion in a Troma film
If anyone out there is familiar with the film company Troma(With titles like the Toxic Avenger, Surf Nazis Must Die, Kabukiman, and Cannibal! the musical), they have done a Romeo and Juliet film quite a while back(I think it was in the late eighties, judging from the fashion used in it), they called it "Tromeo and Juliet".
It's a small ways into act three, in a dream sequence that Juliet has, where Tromeo visits her through her window, and says a few lines. Afterwhich, her belly starts to grow, with a slight popping noise in the background, it is rather disturbing to see, but then Romeo just tears the skin open to reveal freshly popped popcorn. After a while it opens up again to reveal a live rat crawling out, followed by three more in there, on a nest of what looks to be lo-mein. It's more of a comedy thing than horror, or sexual. And that's what's so great about Troma films. |
