Re: mind control, bimbo transformation

I feel like Mindy Flyth, or one of our other e-book authors, has written a tale or two about it.

Not me, sorry. My kinks run to bimbofication and not so much nerdification, although attribute transfer is fun.

Pardon if this has been on the forum already, but it's relevant. A few weeks ago sortimid got in a lot of trouble for this de-bimbofication image. It ended up in a Buzzfeed article, among other places, and people were arguing about if it was misogynist. I felt bad for him (her?), being put under so much scrutiny for such a fun, harmless image. Fortunately it doesn't seem to have slowed sortimid down any.

Sortimid is a nice artist. I'm a fan of his work for some time now. I'm also an Artist who create Bimbofication and Breast Expansion works and had years ago a similar problem. There are always people who think that just a naked woman, no matter if transformed into a Bimbo or a guy transformed into a girl, is misogynist. The problem is that the people get more and more hypersensitve about normal things like naked woman or naked woman who have fun or woman who turn into Bimbos. There are more then enough woman out in the world who increases their bust to enourmos size or turn themselfs into Barbie dolls. Maybe you have seen it with Emma Watson. This young actress it a feminist. She fight for woman rights. She wear a piece of clothes that let large parts of her chest free to see for everyone and the hypersensitive people start to cry: Who can a person like her a feminist? And she asked: "What have my breasts to do to be a feminist?" And she is right. As woman it is her decision to wear whatever she want and to show so much skin of her body as she want. And so it is as Artist. It is our decision how we create this fantasy or what we do with them. Shows that how we work with womans in reality or how we stand to them? No. It is just a fantasy, for some a fetish. Nothing more. And Sortimid had shown a good reaction to this public reaction. He stays cool and make his stuff. He acted friendly and give enough informations out to the people without any anger. I'm sure that he was nervous and sad about that, but he acted cool. I think that this maked him stronger and better as before.

Well said! And that's a good summary of the situation.

(What is your native language, anyway? I've never known...)

This is true, but I'll be honest and admit that there often is a misogynistic aspect to the fetish. But it's a fantasy fetish and does not reflect one's attitudes in real life at all.

Whether it's Christian conservatives like Mary Whitehouse in the eighties or leftist feminists today, there will always be people looking for reasons to be offended by sexuality. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

Actually, the people that called out Emma Watson were pointing out her hypocrisy in declaring any depiction of women she didn't like or any and all disagreement with her hardline feminist mantra to be misogynistic, while then doing a photoshoot that showed quite a lot of skin. For Ms. Watson, it's wrong when other people do it, but fine when she does it.

And she asked: "What have my breasts to do to be a feminist?"
She wants to have her cake and eat it too. Breasts and females bodies have everything to do with feminism when she wants them to, and nothing when she doesn't.

It's obvious she hasn't thought about it too much. It's just a tool to try to maintain or raise her profile.

The problem is that a feminist will argue that your depiction, despite being obvious fantasy, promotes harmful misogyny in real life. If you ask them how, you're a misogynist.

Feminist here, and I do think that his depictions ARE sexist, but they are also fantasies. Fantasies I enjoy as well.

The short of it is that fetishizing a person being a bimbo makes a person, on some level, have real world desire to have real people act or be that way, and it becomes a problem when a person only proceeds to value a person of the other gender when they are that way, or they don't respect it when other people OR other portrayals don't go that way.

Let me be clear about something, forceful transformation ESPECIALLY of an enslaving type is not something I would ever wish or want or condone in real life. What's more, people have a right to find it disturbing, disgusting, or distasteful. However, so long as no people are hurt, forcibly involved, or persuaded in bad faith to participate, a private fantasy is just that: private.

What we do, on our scale, is private. We willingly join or view the products of our fantasies and can just as easily look away.

However, I do think that there lies a problem when things start becoming mainstream or highly present in the day to day. Representation on a large scale is something we should be aware of and women (or for that matter men) should not feel pressured into harsh gender roles. A woman should have the right to be a stripper or a scientist and not face social or professional backlash or stereotyping. A woman should not have to fulfill a particular body type to be respected or taken seriously as a person. On that note, a man should be able to be a businessman or a stay at home dad to take care of the kids without facing any stigma, and that (believe it or not) is another aspect of feminism, at least as every feminist I know defines it.

The problem is that when we have portrayals in popular media that are extremely one sided about how only tall thin pretty women are portrayed in the media as a whole, all the while women in the professional world face much higher scrutiny when trying to fulfill what was classically considered "masculine" roles such as breadwinning and leadership, it is understandable that a fantasy that involves a person trying to buck stereotypes being forcibly driven into the stereotypical bimbo role is something that could be disturbing or at the very least disgusting to someone who has faced and fought against that exact thing.

Bimboization is not normal, and it shouldn't BE normal, it's a fetish. If you can respect the idea of it being a video game character so you shouldn't go around murdering people with a sword, you can respect the idea of bimboization being okay only on written pages or images.

I hold pornography (which is entirely what this really is) to a different sort of standard than I do mass media. In Mass media, representation and presentation of different groups and people matter, and we need to be conscience of what we are doing and who it might affect since it very specifically is for public consumption. Private fantasy however, should not be held to that same expectation. We understand the difference as adults, and should be taught that as a young age what one might get off to in fantasy does NOT necessarily have any right to go in the real world, especially when a person's consent is involved.

There are grey areas of course, where it's hard to define what is private fantasy and publicly sold and normalized, but in my feminist (or at least trying to be feminist) views, this is private fantasy and meant to be consumed as such.

tl:dr Jerk off to what you want, so long as it doesn't put expectations on others or change how you treat people.

Re: mind control, bimbo transformation

I would also add, beyond the reminder before mods come in to say that this should be in flames and bullshit, that there are aspects of this genre that we also view symbolically at this point. There was concern that on a level it was racist when the dark skinned woman becomes more dowdy and repressed after reading a book, that she also gets paler skin, which on a level could be seen as racist as well. It's peering in from the outside without understanding that it was fetish art and trying to figure it out which is incredibly difficult to do, but I don't necessarily begrudge them for being upset or frustrated or angry about the piece. There are definitely fetishes that I'm not into that I can say "I'm not into that" so I move on, but only because it is presented to me as fetish art. There's a difference between seeing let's say a piece of inflation art by a fetish artist and seeing a piece of it in a cartoon where it is equally sized - and the people outside of that community would raise some level of questioning.
TL: DR It's people looking at something they don't understand without context and we've got some weird context.

Re: mind control, bimbo transformation

I pretty much agree with Shadowbane, also a feminist and I love exploring the relationship to fetish/belief systems.

I do think there are issues worth talking about with Bimbo TF and personally I have become less into some aspects. End of the day though what's hot to you is hot to you. I mean there would be a difference if people were flaunting Bimbo TF around and saying "This shit is something everyone needs to accept" but no this was a thing that existed on it's own area and let people process things in their own way.

My personal taste shifting away from a lot of the core aspects of Bimbo TF (while still enjoying some of the base stuff) doesn't mean everyone has to do the same thing as me.

Side Note: Give me more lesbian bimbo TF XD.

Another Milf-Shake transformation, this time Airi the daughter of Tunaki. Someone pointed out that I made her shorter than normal and she might get a height increase in future renditions.
