The New Mutants
Just saw the new trailer for The New Mutants and there is a bit of werewolf transformation in the trailer so I’m hoping there is more!

Re: The New Mutants
The "transformation" will be done in the same way Mystique changes her appearance, but Rahne Sinclair only changes between human and wolfish-like humanoid, so the transformation will be limited to a 2-seconds skin effect.
I'm sorry to ruin your expectancies, but it is the way it gonna happen. |

Re: The New Mutants
I'm still surprised that they didn't scrap the whole thing, and it can't be worse than that Dark Phoenix garbage..

Re: The New Mutants
Remember this is Maesie Williams from Game of Thrones, shes not gonna do anything remotely related to actual tf/nudity, its gonna be in the dark poof shifts only for the moments she will have to fight. 99% of her time is going to be her a broody human

Re: The New Mutants
Maisie Williams on playing Wolfsbane, including a bit about the wolf effects:
"We had like 3 weeks before shooting to figure that out, during which with a lot of prosthetics meetings and we tried on fingernails and teeth and facial hair and fur and bodysuits and all sorts of crazy stuff and they ultimately decided that they're going to do most of it in post, but, the reason why I went into all of that is because it was really interesting to see how I feel and how it would look before it, you know, it'll look slightly different, but it'll be nice to see what I'm going to be like, you know once she changed. Rahne really does struggle with her transformation, so just to stand and look in the mirror like I'm sure rain would have done that multiple times, and yeah, so it's nice to have felt that before, just having [motion capture] dots. When we shoot I have the fingernails and I have teeth and I have dots. So they can put just the fur in because we were struggling to make the little pieces look like fur, it was just like hair so that was important." And hey, it's Bill Sienkiewicz drawing Maisie Williams turning into Wolfsbane! (From everything I've the movie is very heavily inspired by his run on the comic), |

Re: The New Mutants
So, as we said, something in the line as Mystique morphing transitions. And clothes is, of course. Thank you very much for the update!
