Increased Density

Some superheroes demonstrate the ability to change their density, usually increasing it. Usually this is not a big draw for process fans since there is no visible change in the individual's appearance. The context in which I am thinking of it is in that of a power that is useful if it can be controlled but very annoying/dangerous if it can't be turned off.

Does anyone know of any comics or stories where the protagonist is dealing with problems related to the process of uncontrolled density increases?

Re: Increased Density

Hmm, I think Fairchild from Gen-13's density increased to about 3x normal (if I recall correctly) when her powers first activated, it caused her to rip out of her clothes and give her super strength. It was a little GTS, FMG, BE, and this all in one.

Re: Increased Density

he's right, that's the source of Caitlin Fairchild's powers.

If you can find the Gen13 movie in some fashion (not impossible), then there's a decent scene in there when she rips out of her clothes. but as stated before the scene is very "GTS, FMG, BE" just like it was in the comic. nice BE though...
