Black Canary & Zatanna: Bloodspell BE
It took me a while to get around to buying the non-New 52, original graphic novel by Paul Dini and Joe Quinones. While flipping through it, I came across a scene where Dinah needed a disguise, but refused to dress up as a showgirl. Zatanna magicked the disguise onto her teammate, and then some
While it does appear to be mostly poof-transformation, the first image shows half her body is still normal during the change. The art in this book is amazing, and of the few bits I did read made me smile with delight. Bloodspell appears to be a breath of fresh air when compared to what DC has been publishing, lately. Apologies for the camera quality. If anyone can get a hold of scans of the pages, feel free to post 'em. |

'And on costume make-over!'... shouldn't it say 'and one costume make-over?'.

That's pretty good looking. I hope someone can get scans of it. I may buy it and do it myself.
