The Panspermia hypothesis
Panspermia (from Ancient Greek πᾶν (pan), meaning 'all', and σπέρμα (sperma), meaning 'seed') is the hypothesis that life exists throughout the Universe, distributed by space dust, meteoroids, asteroids, comets, planetoids, and also by spacecraft carrying unintended contamination by microorganisms.
__________________ We sent satellites into space contaminated with water bears and accidentally might have created life on other planets. Think about it... They have been around from the start and didn't need to adapt that much because at their size and with their durability they can survive cataclysmic events that would wipe out all other life. They are the catalyst of all life on earth and potentially other planets (we might have come from galaxies away to find a sustainable environment). Also remember they can live in space and we don't exactly know the extent of their ability to survive. Seems possible in my book. Last edited by tjlemke; 07-08-2018 at 09:11 PM. Re: The Panspermia hypothesis
Yeah, that could happen. You should freeze yourself for millions of years so you can find out if it did, then build a time machine and come back and tell us.

Re: The Panspermia hypothesis
That's just some species. There are some species that leave eggs all over. Insects and fish for example. Open your mind! Ha

Yes, and then sperm is spermmed on it. Doesn't you know how sperming works? Sperm is the thing that jizzes from the spooge hole and gets all up on and in and over the things and stuff. It's pretty basic biolology, sheesh.

^ EWWWWW! Now I'm 110% lesbian. Ha
Seriously though - what about those species where the female injects eggs into the male and he has to gestate then?

Re: The Panspermia hypothesis
How did they decide that the one injecting material into another is female?
