Pop update
He's updated again:
http://www.transform.to/~pop/archive/forest.html This comes at the same time as GeoKee updated his dA which further adds to my belief that GeoKee = Pop http://geokee.deviantart.com/art/GeoKee20-124200144 |

Re: Pop update
A nice tree TF... but I must say I don't like the method he's using to display the pictures. Breaking it into a jpg background with a semitransparent gif in front so it's actually two pictures overlapping. Very inconvenient for anyone wanting to archive the works even for simple offline viewing.

Re: Pop update
Offline viewing is all fine and dandy, but I bet he's doing that to prevent having it spread without permission.

Re: Pop update
Simple solution. Print screen, paste to your fav painting program, edit out everything around it and voila. I did that when I wanted to use a magic card picture as an avatar and the site's draconian settings tried to thwart me.

Re: Pop update
It's good to see Pop still posting new work. He was one of my original favorites and I still love to see new art from him.

Re: Pop update
It's a mug's game. It takes seconds to get around that, in Firefox, and slightly longer in Chrome. What he should do is put an obvious but non-obtrusive watermark at the bottom. With his name and URL. Maybe get a tumblr.
