Artist Profile: Toyogub

If ever there was a Japanese God of Shrinking, Toyogub would fit that role.

Toyogub has been on the scene as far back as I can remember being in this. His artwork was probably one of the major draws for me into the shrinking genre, which is now, for the most part, my favorite. Often featuring cute girls in scenarios involving diminishing proportions, he often draws girls with deliciously oversized clothing, usually in original situations that only Toyogub can do.

He has other tastes, including some of the more “darker” stuff like making tiny snacks out of these women. However, the contribution he has made to the Shrinking Process has solidified his position as a legend amongst us.

Lately, Toyogub hasn’t been contributing as much (though it isn’t expected of him to continually do so) through his website, but he does make the occasional Oekaki BBS entry on his website, which continues to showcase his unique perspective on things.

So if you like shrinking, you’ll love Toyogub.

	Toyogub does a lot of images of girls in public situations, like the train, going down. Well, bravo, sir. RANKING -

	One of his earlier works, but by no means of lesser quality or any less original than his other situations. RANKING -

	This is too cute. The proportion is so perfect of the tiny woman to the oversized clothes. Gorgeous. RANKING -

	This is a nice perspective as a woman shrinks further into her own clothes. RANKING -

	Can’t Quite Reach
	A two-frame sequence of a girl trying to measure up, only to dwindle down further. RANKING -

	Awake 1
	Mind-blowing. This and its companion represent the best of Toyogub. RANKING -
