Human Transformer
I got this thread from watching Beast Wars (definately one of the Better Transformers series, see it yourself if you can). One thing that set Beast Wars out from regular Transformers was that instead of turning into vehicles they transformed into animals.
So i was thining, invision a beautiful woman who in the heat of battle says "(Insert name here), MAXIMIZE!" and transforms into a plasma weapon toaing fembot. Could this work? Victory and Glory to the Ruamaur Federation! -AdministratorDraven |

You could also try having anime mecha pilots turn into their respective robots. Like Allenby turning in Nobel Gundam or Asuka/Rei turning into their Evas. Just a thought.

I actually read a TF fanfic once which featured an author avatar as a Beast-era Transformer with a human alt-mode...and considering that the Beast-era characters were roughly human-sized to begin with, it's not a bad idea.

The reason Beast Wars is so good is because it stays in the Canon universe of Transformers. The other Saturday morning renditions that have appeared after, I don't even know which is which. They all are the same to me. I have to say the new one I like though, it's much better than all the garbage before it. Megatron is definitely more evil looking.
