but seriously, is that your critique? that the manga is bad becuase it has fanboys and lots of hype? no gripes with the story or the writing? lack of a compelling protagonist? lack of clear antagonists? shoddy artwork? plot holes? high percentage of pedophilia? lack of realism? lack of thorough explanation of the universe? repetition of plot points? formulaic story? annoying japanese archetype as a main character, supporting character or side character?lack of breasts on the majority of female protagonists? too much breasts on the other protagonists? bad pacing? bad monologues? annoying flashback sequences right in the middle of the action? sequences that reveal things you already knew? is it just too darn good?

Naruto doesn't deserve to be critiqued in depth, but since you want me to then here it is. Every part of it is shotty, ranging from plot holes up the kazoo to charecters that have no purpose in the story in general. There are over 100 charecters and most of them have less than 10 lines in an arc. Besides, the stupidity of the charecters makes George Bush look like a genious, really since when did someone want to avenge thier family and rebuild it by killing his only remaining relative! Then comes other meaningless dialogue with no importance whatsover such as every conversation with the "Will of the Fire" or that the younger generation will kill the older ones. The fight scenes are horrible, with most charecters staying in the background when Naruto beats his enemies with one of the following methods. 1) Mass Clone 2)Mass Clone 3)Mass Rasengan 4) Mass Raengan 5) Scream SASUKEEEE 20x a page, and finally 6) Mass clones, rasengan, and scream SASUKEEE!.
Then comes the fact that the two coolest charecters are downplayed every single time they apear. I'm talking about Mighto Gai and Rock Lee. Gai is supposed to be evenly matched with Kakashi and the best we've seen him do is kill a fish clone. Rock Lee is probably the greatest young ninja just with his will to go on and help others. When he fights Kimmimaru with his Drunken Fist he had to be saved b Gaara King of the Red Haired Hicks from Egypt. They both have no time, and although they are commical they clearly are a better combo than Kakashi and Naruto. This is the flaw of the whole manga. Naruto is a kid, not a god. Woot? What's this he has a demon in him? Well then! I say that it falls upon the generic demon inside kid to save the world plot that has been constantly used over and over again!.
The manga has died and I have to say Naruto has fallen down into the same plothole where Sirius Black fell into when he DIED!
