Actually, the version airing on Sci-Fi will be dubbed IIRC.
I think Hynden Walch (yes, the girl who voiced Starfire) will make a good Nia, though I admittedly haven't heard Walch as Nia yet (I wasn't at the GL screening). I'm expecting something along the lines of her Amy from IGPX, something girlish, kind, and soft without sounding too weak.
Bandai doesn't actually dub anime, they contract it out to independent studios in NY, LA, and Canada. This one's gonna be an LA dub. So any dub problems should be blamed on the studio, not Bandai. The ADV dub will never see the light of day, fortunately or unfortunately.
In any case, Bandai dubs usually don't suck. In fact, Cowboy Bebop should be watched dubbed rather than subbed IMO.
