I imagine Dead Space 2 will be in active development - gaming is the fasting growing entertainment media and a couple of years from now, things will probably be picking up... either that or EA will just give us a raft of very slightly different sports games for the idiot proles to shore them up.

And yes, the Broken Steel expansion will rewrite the ending of the game to let you do some other mission with the Brotherhood.
