Re: SheWolf crowd funded project

Well still, the basic idea remains the same: finding somebody that is willing to do the effect work while being associated with the "porn" industry. That's the main hurdle to get over, no matter how much money you throw at somebody, they're not going to risk their career in the field of special effects make-up for a cool as hell werewolf transformation once they find out it's basically a bunch of fetish lovers dying to see a naked woman become a monster on screen. Have you seen American Werewolf in London XXX? It's terrible and they had a budget for a Werewolf film, even a porno version of it, and it still had no effects worth a shit.

Even if we have somebody to head the project and even if we try to make it in such a way that it's not considered "porno" material, I think the cost itself would also be a major problem. I hate being so negative with this, because I'd love to see the equivalent of American Werewolf in London or The Howling but with a woman instead, but unless we could find a really good Rick Baker type person that wants to knock our socks off with his prosthetic work for us, I just can't see how we'd be able to fund something so ambitious.

I would think we could get something like this done faster and easier by doing it in CG like Gryf does. He did a woman transforming into a dolphin in less than a week. I'd rather fund buying the programs to pull off his level of detail for a talented person like GenYun, Skalla or Krusty to produce amazing work that looks more than good enough for all of us. If any of you have been following the work Girlfriends 4 Ever, then you could see how CG could be a definite replacement for live action transformations. Sure Girlfriends 4 Ever is Futanari, but the look of the thing is just amazing.

I could be wrong of course, but I think it's something to think about.
