That kind of thinking is precisely why we have to take five-year-old reprints of printed material, or reposts (which may not even be legal) from ad-saturated paysites, rather than fresh new material. I know you may not agree with me, but I'm tired of being a second-class citizen, relegated to the scraps of those who are willing to pay for premium content. Of course, not everyone is able to put up their hard-earned greenbacks, but when they are, what's the excuse for not paying artists for first-party, quality content, which both mainstreams our community and lets the artist hone an area that may be interesting to them?

EDIT: I'm also frustrated by the number of people who expect premium content to be free. If they're aiming to discourage an artist who's trying desperately to serve the community without starving himself, they should just keep that shit up.

I believe people should be paid for their hard work, so long as they don't go overboard with it. It's one thing to want to make money but another to be really asinine and make it so that you can't even talk about the site without possibly getting in trouble. So long as they're good quality and they don't charge too much, I'd pay for it.
