Re: biggerbiggerbigger.com wroth paying?

As a previously longtime subscriber yo MamaB's works, I might seem a bit hypocritical by saying yes, it is worth it. S/he has quite a archive going - Although some of it is seemingly hidden in broken links(or at least it used to be) It's a good site, and if you sub. to MamaB's one site, you get access to them all- Which you can see at mamabliss.com.

Of course it's all subjective, some people hate mamaB's artwork, some love it. I'm kinda neutral on it myself- I never liked it at first, but s/he does some work that used to be really hard to find in certain fetishes.

Best of luck!

Her style is unique and I like it a lot. That's why I commission mamaB so much.

I've never subscribed so I just keep up with the comics as they're drawn. S/he is a good artist, but honestly, when s/he does b/w comics sometimes...I can't tell what the heck is going on. Other than that, I have no problems, and judging by how much art s/he draws and the various genre, I'd say the subscription is well worth it.

Mamabliss be needin' to learn how to make it so that the reader doesn't get motion sickness from their work.
Also, they be needin' to learn how to use computer text instead of the mostly unreadable chicken scratchin' they be callin' writin'.

Re: biggerbiggerbigger.com wroth paying?

I think Mammabliss is probably even more divisive an artist than Gammarai was... which is to say - there are a lot of people strongly polarised in their views, positive and negative... and, I don't think anyone can deny that the people that dislike the style are vocal in their criticism.

If you like the style, then it's probably worth sneaking a peek... and as you're asking, it seems likely that you're interested. There certainly isn't a lack of material.

But I'd agree with Long John, it be about time to be using the computer text. At times, I've had more luck deciphering Welsh anagrams than reading the text in some of the comics. Fucking Welsh.

Simple thing here.

If you like his art style, then yes. If you do not, don't.
The subscription would let you see anything you would expect from Mamabliss.

Thumbs down for me. Considering that a) you can get most of the content just by checking back every day, b) they have a large chunk of comics available for free in the archive, and c) even the non-archive stuff gets rerun at times, paying for it seems like a waste.

Then there's also the whole issue of his art style looking like an epileptic parkinson's sufferer after their fifth shot of espresso...

I think MamaBliss's art is beautiful to look at, but so abstract that it's almost totally unarousing. I think you could get away with hanging large prints of some of her more intense panels in an office building hallway; it would be months before anyone studied it closely enough to realize what was being depicted.

Unless you count, you know, supporting the artist that does work you like.

Totally worth it.
