See the dichotomy here? You're not much in agreement with yourself, or you stupidly assumed that there are no gamers here. The former seems more likely.

And I don't think people care about their "groups." Or if they do, they shouldn't. When you come out and say "every X is a Z," in the presence of many Z hating X's, you're clearly flaming and trolling, and you know how people are going to react.

Offended? No, I'm just calling you a moron. One needn't offend me to be a moron. At this pace, it looks like you're the undesirable aspect here. But it's got nothing to do with me if you get relabeled as banned, I guess. *shrug*

Also, there are many fans that aren't "fanboys."
1. Fan GIRLS.
2. Desk fans
3. Completely reasonable people who don't immediately assume that their interests define them as a person and/or that people around them want to hear about ANY/ALL/MUCH of it (choose 1).

For instance, I am a TF fan. But people around me don't know this, making me immediately not a "fan boy." Also, even when NOT in public (ala on the internet), I don't run around telling people what is good and bad about it, as if these things qualify as an expertise or connoisseurship. Which is what fanboying is all about.

Argue that if you want. But it's not really up for debate.
