Just saying. I like TF as much as the next guy. Probably more. I'm not sure that qualifies me as more intelligent than anyone else, though. So, just... let's not put ourselves on pedestals based on our preferences. |

My Two Cents:
I believe they need to take a totally different route and make werewolves appealing to the general masses by making the werewolf designs aesthetically pleasing in an erotic sence, while still being able to pass the censors standards, they should do a type of bikini fur approach where the fur is arranged in a manner like a bikini but without any strings, I've seen such bikini's in Playboy magazines and they would look great on a werewolf with some other fur pattern. Also, I'd recommend that they hire female bodybuilders and fitness models to portray the actresses when they're transforming and show them ripping out of their clothing and shoes alah The Incredible Hulk. It would look much more satisfying for a female to be doing the ripping of her clothing if she had the physicality to show how huge she looked after transformed. Plus there's the need for digitigrade feet, they could probably canibalize some prosthethics from Tales from the Crypt the Movie: Demon Knight; the appendeges used for the unglate demons could be reshaped into workable feet for the werewolves. Here are two designs that I have perfected, one that is definately R rated and the other (without the four extra breasts sorry :-P ) that is sensible for broadcast with the right amount of makeup and fur: The bikini is only a standin for the real fur, the bra should be unioned with the fur that is near the lats but not in between the chest. This avoids the association that the woman has a hairy chest and still is modest for broadcasting. You can look at my recent artwork on this forum for more ideas

The problem is not that fox can't release good stuff, some of my favorite shows of all time have come off fox. Of course then they make sure it's impossible for the show to pick up a consistent audience and cancel it as a result. |

Re: "Bitches" Werewolf TV series
Part of me is still expecting this to get canned in preproduction based on the name alone. Think of how many markets they're going to get locked out of without people even considering the content. Will they even be able to get listed in TV Guide without having half the title replaced with asterisks?
As for how the show would handle the wolfy bits personally I'd expect them to go more of a An American Werewolf in London route with some guy in a bulky quadraped costume running around. Give the acresses some yellow contacts and take care of the TF with CGI. There are certainly enough out of work animators in the market that they could get hired on for cheap. |

Re: "Bitches" Werewolf TV series
Well the most recent news I've seen says that the show received a penalty commitment from Fox, which as I understand it means that somebody's pocket gets hit if the show doesn't get at least an episode. So cancellation is looking not so likely for preproduction, I bet we'll see at least an episode.
EDIT: Found a link to an article that says so. http://www.dreadcentral.com/story/fo...f-show-bitches Last edited by Cursebearer; 02-02-2009 at 01:17 AM. |

Re: "Bitches" Werewolf TV series
They could handle the "werewolf bits" the way it was done in the "Shewolf of London" tv series, I suppose.

Re: "Bitches" Werewolf TV series
SIMPSONS has degeneraed into crap because:
A) It has been going for too long B) Matt not longer works there C) Is very hard to run such a long TV series when you cant have the characters grow up or make references to thinks that arent at least six months old. The SIMPSONS unability to make refences to current happenings has become one of it downfalls once they have used almost every good idea posible. |

Actually 'we' are pretty clueless on tf( where tf= transformation) and its everyone else who has a better chance of grasping the plot/idea the series writer is trying to get across."We" tend to concentrate on fetishes/erotica whilst everyone else zooms right in on the plot. Hence if Butch Hartmann puts his dragon ghost in episodes such as "Prisoners of Love",Parental Bonding,Beauty Marked ( and the one with the ghost king and his game of chess) they (the smarter ones anyways) can tell Butch has done his research into the origins of the whole dragon princess,Aragon, bad Mommy won't let me go to the Ball thing whilst 'we' reduce a 1000 years of literary tradition to a < female >> dragon> fetish wanker lasting 9 seconds |

Re: "Bitches" Werewolf TV series
Someone indeed needs a hug.
I'm honestly hoping they go with the American Werewolf style werewolves, which is to say the more monstrous route, but seeing as this is a described 'dramedy', I doubt we'll see anything as dramatic or awesome as that. I just wish there was more out on the subject, really, because I want to know when this pilot is going to hit. The commitment payment suggests that we'll at least get that much, and honestly, anything with women werewolves in it piques my interest no matter how potentially cheesy. I will try to be optimistic, and also try not to be disappointed. The worst case scenario is they do something ridiculous like the transformation and monsters in that Charmed episode 'Blue Moon'. That was... not good. |

Re: "Bitches" Werewolf TV series
Charmed? Well, I can find other "bad examples", like Buffy werewolves, or some horrid CGI weres in also horrible movies (darkwolf, etc).
