This probably belongs more under the 'Everything Else' section, but Robin Hobb's 'Farseer' novels have some mental tf/animal mindswap content. There are also some allusions to physical transformation, though it supposedly does not occur...

Re: Female Transformations in Books

I am going completely blank on the title, but it has a lot of TF the entire concept is TF is commercially available and some evil James Bond type villian is using the technology to alter people to become homicidal maniacs shaped like hammerhead sharks.

Found it, Armed Memory by Jim Young

Re: Female Transformations in Books

The Moonshae trilogy of the Forgotten Realms story books has several.

Two I recall are a creature known as the Darkwalker turning into a woman, then enhancing its features (technically BE, but it's done in one group from the creature to buxom babe)

Also, of the two main characters, the heroine of the trilogy is a druid, and transforms several times into creatures, including one more detailed one of her turning into a wolverine.

Its a future where anyone can TF for a price, but the government controls all FORMS available for purchase, there is a police force that finds illegal forms and does something. The mystery is who is developing an illegal form and why.

That is all that I remember.

Sorry

Have it, the TFs aren't bad. But yours are better.

...I'm surprised out of my wits that no one's mentioned the Animorphs series yet.

Re: Female Transformations in Books

there is a series of books that involve a teen werewolf girl... If i recal correctly the are called
"Dark Dreams"
"Dark Music"
"Dark truimph"

All are by Ann hodgman. I've read the first 2 and they were decent reads, but the last one was out of print so I have not been able to read the conclusion to the trilogy.
